James Downing, BC-HIS is licensed and nationally board-certified in hearing instrument sciences.  Jim's dad, Sandy, founded Hearing Plus, Inc. in 1987. Upon Sandy's retirement in 2001, Jim became President and sole owner, updating the name to Advanced Hearing Plus.  Jim is well acquainted with hearing loss on a personal level: his grandfather, father and younger daughter suffer from severe hearing loss. Patients find Jim to be warm, kind, and very competent. His clients can attest to Jim's compassionate and unselfish care over the years.
