 | I bet many of you are into your spring cleaning these days. We've been trying to get some of that done here in our office as well. This is proving to be a very busy spring for us. We are seeing more people who need hearing help and are in need of help with their present hearing instruments. |  | |
 It's always great to make new friends and help more people. We recently had a call from one of our customers who moved back east a year ago. She lost one of her hearing aids. Thankfully, it is still in warranty for loss and damage, and we have her impressions and investments, so were able to send those in for the lab to make her a replacement aid. The only dispensing office nearest her little town didn't seem to want to help her. That is sad. We help many people who move to our area from out of state, whose hearing aids are still in warranty. We do our best to go the extra mile to help people in need, and find it hard to understand people in the healthcare field who don't have a heart to help others. Ah, well … . |
Can't believe how fast April whooshed by! We are looking forward to helping a lot more people this month. In fact, May 16-18, we are having a special event with Nikolas Klakow from Bernafon. We had a great time with Nikolas several months ago, and are looking forward to having him with us again this month. |
As some of you know and/or have noticed, we have had our website totally revamped! We hope you like it and find it much easier to navigate and more informative. We'd like to thank our new webmaster, Sharon, from 24 Carat Design. Sharon gives 110% effort to make things the way we want them and is very quality- and detail-oriented. She is top-notch. In the News: iPods
iPods are still in the news. Apple is now providing updated software for the latest model iPods. This software allows the user to set a maximum volume level. This is welcome news! Now, consumers have a means to protect their hearing when using this device. I'm sure there will be more changes to iPod technology in relation to hearing protection. |
